The best professional development experience ever!
“Could you please provide me with an address to mail a formal thank you to Pleasant for providing ‘the best professional development experience ever’ last week in Cleveland? I attended your symposium, along with two of my teachers. By the time I got home I already had an email from one of those teachers:
Jay,

Thank you so much for asking me to attend the reading symposium. I loved it! It was by far one of the best if not the best professional developments I've ever attended. The speakers were outstanding and the information was eye opening.

Thanks again,
Jill

She was already implementing specific strategies Monday morning! The other teacher was equally enthralled.

My goal of attaining better knowledge of K-2 reading was accomplished within the first two hours of the conference. I continued to be moved and inspired throughout the rest of the symposium. I actually couldn't sleep

Friday night as my mind continued to swirl around all I had discovered and experienced. I felt some compelling bond to this foundation, as if my future is somehow tied to it, although I have no explanation for that!

Again, my main goal is to pass on my/our sincere gratitude for this wonderful professional development and learning opportunity. Pleasant’s passion and spirit behind her dream and mission truly touched my heart and soul. The professionalism and class displayed were impressive. I cannot express my appreciation fully, but would like to send a letter to Pleasant for helping me ‘get it’ and ‘believe.’ Wow!”

Now he cannot put Superkids materials down!
“‘Grandma, I love the Superkids!’ This from my grandson Benedict, who is in kindergarten. This is a child who had no interest in pencils, crayons, scissors—any ‘sit down and do it’ activities. Now he cannot put Superkids materials down! He spends weekends looking for a page that might still have something to fill in. Thank you for the gift of this program!”

In my 37 years of teaching I don’t think I have seen such progress!
In my 37 years of teaching I don't think I have seen such progress in my students by this time in the school year. I am very excited to see where they will be by the end of the school year.”

Adopting Superkids was one of the smartest decisions we have ever made
“The teachers are very excited about Superkids and the feedback at Parent-Teacher conferences was extremely positive. Parents were amazed at what their children were learning! Overall, adopting Superkids was one of the smartest decisions we have ever made as a school!

Response from parents can be summed up in words like ‘amazing’ and ‘excellent’
Response from parents can be summed up in words like ‘amazing’ and ‘excellent’ as they compare their kindergartener’s progress to their older children at this age.”

They scored in the 98th percentile on the Stanford Early Achievement Test!
“We were exceedingly pleased and proud of our kindergartners’ test scores from the spring. They scored in the 98th percentile on the Stanford Early Achievement Test, making this class the highest ranking class in the nation using Superkids! We were looking for a program that would help us with our goals of achieving reading competency in the primary grades and we found it with Superkids. We are thrilled with it!”
- Mary Vitulli, Assistant Principal, Illinois
It’s refreshing to see a program actually teaching students HOW to read.
It’s refreshing to see a program that is actually teaching students HOW to read, versus showing them. I am able to support classroom teachers with their core instruction so much more effectively because of how this program utilizes the latest scientific research for young readers.”
