Website and Database Administrator

For a fast-growing educational publisher of a K-2 reading program. Key responsibilities for this full-time position with benefits are:

  • Administer website
  • Administer enterprise-level customer relationship management (CRM) system
  • Ensure integrity and accuracy of data stored in SQL databases
  • Provide training and support to end-users on enterprise systems
  • Oversee work of external IT vendors
  • Write and run SQL queries
  • Create and run management reports
  • Advise management on new technologies

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 year's experience administering enterprise-level CRM system 
  • Knowledge of relational database technology
  • Knowledge of web technology
  • Programming skills in HTML and SQL
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong project management skills 

 

Educational Sales Rep/Consultant

Publisher of a K-2 reading program seeks a Northeast regional sales rep with a background in reading instruction.

Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years’ classroom experience and must have reading experience or early literacy experience. Previous school consulting or sales experience preferred. Senior Editor

Fast-growing educational publishing company seeks an experienced senior editor with a specialty in reading to manage the development of second-grade reading materials. This is a full-time position with benefits. Qualifications include a minimum of 10 years’ experience in creating reading materials for the primary grades, excellent writing and editing skills, the ability to manage large projects well, and experience supervising staff, freelancers, and development houses. Previous K-2 teaching experience a plus.
